How long will I have to wait for my wild game?
Orders for wild products are submitted to the harvesting teams on a Friday morning.
Lead times for specific hand harvested (individually shot) products: Wild Venison: 21-28 days
Wild Boar: 21-28 days
Wild Goat: 21-28 days
Here’s the deal: For all wild harvested (individually shot) products, we’ve got a specific cycle that starts on a Friday. No matter when you place your order, if it’s a wild harvested product, our trusty harvesters will receive the paperwork on a Friday. Now, that means if you happen to place your order on a Friday afternoon/evening, you’ll have to wait an extra seven days before the harvesting team gets their hands on it.
Once they have it, they’ll spend that next week hunting the goods.
After that, it’s time for the product to chill out and get butchered, which can take another seven days.
Next up, it needs about seven days to be packed and sent from the harvesting team’s place to our central hub before it is dispatched to you. Phew, quite a process, right?
Depending on when the courier hits your area, it might take an additional 5 to 7 days to reach your doorstep. That’s why we suggest giving us a lead time of between 21 and 28 days for these wild goodies. But hey, if we can get it to you sooner, we’ll definitely make it happen!
Now, let’s talk about those lead times for specific products:
Wild Venison: 21-28 days
Wild Boar: 21-28 days
Wild Goat: 21-28 days
Sometimes luck is on our side, and these products arrive earlier than expected! Maybe the harvesting team had some leftovers from a previous hunt, or they scored a surplus the same week you placed your order. Lucky you!
Remember, unless specified, wild goods are harvested and packed to order. Because of the remote locations and limited transport options, it might take anywhere from 7 to 28 days to get your order ready.
If you choose PICK UP, there’s a handling fee of $35.00. But, that handling fee is completely waived if you go for DELIVERY.
If you’re not sure which option to pick, no worries at all! Just get in touch with us, and we’ll be more than happy to help you figure out the best choice and the total cost. And, if you need to plan for a specific dated event, let us know as early as possible so we can make sure we communicate your deadline to the harvesting teams.
So, before you place your order, make sure you’ve read through these collection/delivery options. It’ll help you pick the perfect way to get your wild goods. Trust us, it’s worth the wait!
