Venison has a wonderful woody, almost fruity flavour and has a texture similar to beef.   Premium quality, wild-caught venison delivered straight to you from the wilderness. As an un-farmed product, our venison is all-natural and free from added hormones and antibiotics. Wild venison originates from animals with a free-ranging lifestyle, with unrestricted access to native Australian bush-food and prime grazing land. Coupled with an artisanal hand-harvested, hand-processed ethos, Fair Game Wild Venison is the highest quality product available on the market.

Each box includes a selection of cuts that you can customise to your preference and includes 350–450g of backstrap and 0.8–1.2kg of Denver leg cuts. You then get the choice between diced meat and minced meat or 1 whole bone-in shoulder (with shank and neck meat attached), and between sausages or 1 pair of shanks.

Collection and Delivery

Please note: all deliveries outside QLD / Northern Rivers and our Beechworth, Victoria outlet are temporarily suspended during Covid-19

Where a deposit is required, the balance of your account is subject to any final weights.  Payment of all balances must be made prior to collection or delivery, and can be made via bank transfer or credit card (a 2.5% credit surcharge applies), and totals including delivery will be issued via invoice. Please check our shipping and delivery page for all rates, courier terms and information. 


BRISBANE COLLECTION Orders may be collected from ACTC cold stores, Canberra Road, Hemmant, Brisbane (unless specified otherwise). Appointments for pick up must be made 24 hrs in advance within 4am-2pm Mon-Thurs, 4am-1pm Fri and will be available within 24 hours after payment of your final receipt.

LOCAL QLD DELIVERY We deliver throughout Brisbane, Gold and Sunshine Coasts, and the Toowoomba regions by sub-contracted refrigerated courier services. Please get in touch if you need delivery outside these areas. Delivery fee is set by the refrigerated courier and ranges from $35.00 (Brisbane and suburban) - $65.00 (Coastal and Ranges). All orders are packed in sealed boxes. Your produce will remain fresh/frozen inside the courier service vehicle. Couriers can not leave fresh or frozen meat unattended, so please ensure someone will be available to receive. REGIONAL QLD DELIVERY Delivery is available to most locations throughout South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales. Please visit our shipping and delivery page for costings. Air freight may apply depending on your location. All orders are packed in sealed boxes. Your produce will remain fresh/frozen inside the courier service vehicle. Couriers can not leave fresh or frozen meat unattended, so please ensure someone will be available to receive.

BEECHWORTH COLLECTION: (temporarily suspended) Orders may be collected from the Stanley township, (prior notice required); or LINK cold stores, Wangaratta (by arrangement). Appointments for pick up must be made 24 hrs in advance and will be available within 24 hours after payment of your final receipt.

INTERSTATE DELIVERY (temporarily suspended) Most interstate freight can be sent via Cool Couriers road freight to your home address (slower); or by Virgin/Qantas Freight to your closest major airport listed here on an 'airport to airport' basis (faster). 

  • Refrigerated Road: Please request a weight guide from us prior to submitting your order. You can then organise your own refrigerated road collection and delivery to suit your details. Obtain your road delivery quote here. Let us know when you are ready to go and we'll have your order waiting for the courier. The address for courier pick up is Canberra Road, Hemmant, open 4am-3pm Mon-Thurs, 4am-1pm Fri.
  • Virgin Freight: Flights to major airports listed here on an 'airport to airport' basis. Please determine you live within range prior to ordering. Fees will also apply for delivery to the Brisbane airport at a rate of $45.00 per drop.  Air freight delivery fees are set by the airline, and a quote can be obtained by emailing us. 

Your produce will be packed in sealed boxes and will remain fresh/frozen inside the aircraft and courier service vehicles, and if using VIRGIN freight, you will need to arrange to collect your item from the designated airport inside the detailed opening hours as terminal freezing is not available. Product Details

Wild venison is a premium quality, wild harvested product shot at night while deer are resting, meaning no stress to herd or animal. An un-farmed product, natural and free from any added hormone or medication. Venison ranges with unrestricted access to Australian bush food and prime chemical free grazing land, which adds a rich depth to the meat. Qualified hunters carry out each cull as part of a chemical free, sustainable culling program. Only the highest quality juveniles are set-aside for Hand Sourced. Our venison is harvested to meet orders, please allow a 2-week window for first delivery. Our shooters do not shoot during rutting or breeding season (late autumn, early winter) or during inclement weather. Fair Game wild venison is the highest quality venison product available to the market.

This business began with the hope to cull the numbers by a controlled harvest, and to be able to process and sell the meat to the public. This is healthier, and more sustainable than the government culls where the carcass is left to rot and waste. 

Deer are harvested and skinned then aged in cool room conditions for 7 days before being sent to Hand Sourced.
