We have two types of pheasant for you to choose from.
Farmed: Fully outdoor pasture reared and grain supplemented, these birds are large and contain a good amount of fat. They are hand processed and air chilled, with no chemical applications to the skin.
Wild: these pheasants are known throughout Australia for being the best naturally grown, wild foraging pheasant, highly sought after by chefs. They are leaner, more gamey, and with much darker meat, grown on coastal bush blocks on Kangaroo Island, South Australia.
Both birds have a subtle taste and are a good introduction for those people trying game for the first time. The birds are whole, dressed and oven ready. A boned and stuffed pheasant is a fantastic main course for a dinner party!
