A seasonal specialty from Broody Goose Farm, these traditional Pekin ducks are grown slowly in open, chemical-free environments on a small, award-winning property in South Australia. Raised with care and processed by hand, the birds are naturally plump with rich, tender meat and a delicate layer of fat under the skin — ideal for crisping.
These ducks are not mass-produced, and their flavour reflects the difference: pure, clean, and perfect for classic Pekin preparations, confit, or whole roasting.

ORIGIN STORY
Incubated, hatched, and grown on Broody Goose Farm in Sedan, South Australia by our farming partners, Bill and Lucy Kruger of The Broody Goose. These ducks are raised chemical- and hormone-free in open, natural environments, and hand-packed on farm after processing.
Supplied frozen. Typical weights per bird:
- Ducks: 1.8–2.0kg
- Drakes: 2.0–2.5kg
Naturally raised and histamine-friendly.

Each carton is dispatched from our Sydney warehouse to the address supplied on your order. Carton weights listed are indicative, your invoice will reflect the true weight of the carton.
Product is kept in a frozen chain from our depot through to your nearest cold store, however the courier who delivers your cartons may use a refrigerated vehicle, transported at 0c-1c – which mean you might (not always) see some softening of the product around the edges. This is not a problem – it is part of the Australian logistics networks. You can read more about that here.
